CHAT: TRANSPORT Weekend competition 02-05 Februay 2012
 

Transport.

For this competition, I would like to offer ‘Transport,’ as the subject. Anything that is, or can be, used to transport people, animals or goods. From shopping trolleys, via cars, to jumbo jets; trains to ocean liners. You get my drift. Anything goes, apart from people.

I know people carry things (or children), thus transporting them from A to B and beyond, but I don’t want them.

People in, or with, a mode of transport are, of course, okay.

Photographs can be of the ‘transporter’ as a whole, or a detail.
All forms of pp allowed.

(I’ll have a go at a still life of a six axle truck! :D)

PS It may be a good idea to avoid photographing (other people's) licence plates, or, if you can't avoid them, to blank them out.

Hmmm! Something I very rarely take photos of so this will be a good challenge for me! I hope I have time as my little boy's B-day is next Monday and we have something special planned for him everyday this weekend! I may be just too tired!

If I can't find my six axle truck, it'll have to be an old lady with a shopping trolley.

I think we had 'transport' last year, when I was in tenerife, and I had some great shots of a cable car that takes tourists up to the top of Mount Teide. As I was away, I was unable to post it. Guess what?? I'm going to tenerife this weekend too! Not till Sunday so I hope I can get a transport shot before i go.

Have a good idea too, just need a willing participant.
