Nerves of steel, that man! Must be his smile that keeps him safe - I must practice mine more!

He comes across as a posh middle aged guy who looks non-threatening. That must aid him I think. I don't know if he has ever had major problems photographing someone although I think years ago someone ripped film out of his camera.

I assume he has permission beforehand before photographing at events and in the supermarkets. I liked his Gary fong diffuser, must get one for my flash gun! :-)

Most people are happy to be photographed. As to shops or supermarkets most will let you if you ask, or just go in with the camera around your neck like I do. :p

i admire his balls... so to speak. I am too self consious or even shy to think about putting my camera in someones face if i don't know them.

I am sure i watched him on a program a couple of weeks back where hhe took a young couple out and about trying to teach them a bit. Chanel 4 maybe.

He does polarise, i like him. Infact he has inspired me to start my own seaside project at Barry Island in the town i live. I really want to start documentary photography i just need to get thicker skinned.
