Sad Sunrise
 

Went down to [URL="http://g.co/maps/gzf57"]Marsden[/URL] this morning. Got there at about 7am and as the tide wasn't out fully, decided to walk along the cliffs past the Souter Lighthouse.

On my way back the Marsden Grotto car park was full of police and Coastguards as someone had decided to end their life and throw themselves off the cliffs there. I'm pretty sure if I had taken the beach route I'd have found the body.

So this shot will always be tinted with sadness.

Dedicated to the memory of the unknown person who never got to see this sunrise.

Nice shot. Perhaps if that person had seen the sunrise things would be different.

Great shot, very sad circumstances. Saddly most if not all cliffs have a very similar tragic story to tell.

Sad to see that someone will go to extreme lengths to take their lives.Mental or physical pressure or depression can drive us to do terrible things.

Great shot taken in sad circumstances... If only we all took some time to open our eyes and enjoy the beauty around us.

Beautiful sunrise, love the colours. Sadly suicide seems the only option for some people who just can't cope with life for whatever reason.
