Great shot . I have to ask that's not his / her hair on the right hand side is it ?

Looking into those eyes you really can't help thinking they know more than their letting on .

Yep , their hair, for real lol The hair on the left is not showing because he was sort of leaning forward on his right hand side. He was staring at me for a good few minutes and seemed very curious. Here he is before he came out to look :

This really shows what a great job you've made of the B&W conversion .

Thanks, Mark :-) It wasnt a great shot because he just appeared at the glass so I didnt have time to compose really and plus it was shot at ISO 6400 so I really needed to just do something with it or trash it.
Its just black and white conversion and lots of dodging and burning, nothing special.

The shot was taken in Chester zoo yesterday. The ape house has glass windows all the way around it and the orangutan wedged himself right up against the glass. Amazing being so close to them , but I am glad the glass is thick! :-)
