ENTRIES – ‘TRIPTYCH’ monthly comp January 2012
 

This is the [B]ENTIRES[/B] thread for this month’s theme [B]'TRIPTYCH'[/B].

By definition, a triptych is ‘a work of art (usually a panel painting) which is divided into three sections or three carved panels which are hinged together and can be folded shut or displayed open’. In photography, it’s a great way to present 3 photos with a common theme or subject and can be used to tell a story. It doesn’t have to show three separate photos, it could be just the one photo displayed in a segmented way.

Here is a link which allows you to download 25 free triptych templates. There are also some guidelines on how to use these templates. You don’t have to use any of them, but the finished photo must consist of three photos (either 3 separate photos or one photo separated into 3 parts).

There are no restrictions at all on post production. But all images must have been shot in the given time frame.
