Sound activated release

Does anyone know if you can purchase a [B]sound activated release[/B] for a canon 40d or is this something that will require making.
Any help please.

probably overkill for what you want but my StopShot which I use for high speed flash photography of water droplets has a sound activated module, just attach a microphone to it and you're good to go.
