Canon EOS 1Ds Mark IV
 

Given today's news about the [URL="Canon EOS 1D Mark IV released"]Canon EOS 1D Mark IV[/URL], an upgrade to the 1Ds Mark III can't be far off, can it?

I wouldn't think a new model is due for some time yet. The mark 3 is only a little over a year old. Canon's pro series models have longer shelf lives than their pro-sumer range.

Rumour has it, that the 1DsMkIV is to follow in the spring. Which would pretty much follow the sMkIII - however, if they price it like the 1DMkIV, it will be stupid money!
