How do the Photo Galleries Work
 

OK, so who is gonna run a quick run down of how to use the Galleries.

I think I've just about clicked on everything trying to find my gallery and trying to find a link to upload a photo.

I thin I found a link to 'Upload' (though if I can find it again it might be a miracle).

Am I right in thinking members no longer have their own gallery and must upload photos into a set number of galleries set by the website?

I'm having the same problems, Navagating around this site may take some getting used to, But I dont think you have a personal gallery, you just download pics to the general gallery from your computer or flickr etc, :confused:

See where it says digital camera world gallery at the top of the page? If the images are showing fine, if not click the icon with small arrows at the end. That will show the images, then on the left hand side you should see a little menu that says " My stuff", click that and " my images" is the third one down. You can upload and see your images from there, although the " upload images " text is hard to see, its on the right hand side.

Karen, what page is the 'Digital camera World Gallery'? I can't see it on this forum page or on the front page of the main website

It's on the forum index page. Click forum on the main menu. Then you should see a block with a few images in it. Top left of that block is a link "Digital Camera World Gallery" which will take you here, [URL]http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/forum/gallery/[/URL]

Click that

In other words. The link is the opposite end to the one Karen is pointing to. ;)

Well you can get there either way, but the link on the left is the main gallery page. They need to add that to the main Navigation. ;)

Remember it's only a forrum plugin so it's pretty basic, but it seems to work ok.
