New Site Bug reports - post them here

To keep things clean and easy for the admins to find, lets post all new site issues here.

I'll be watching this thread like a hawk. Thank you.

No problem, I work on the other side of these things normally :)

I have one, the colours of the forums being blue. It is not very easy to tell the difference between regular blue and bolded blue indicating new posts. Minor issue, but one that helps usability quite a bit.

Should the titles of the first two forums in the General Chat section change from "PhotoRadar" and "PhotoRadar member competitions..." to DigitalCameraWorld?

Also I think some of the sticky items in the PhotoRadar forum could probably now be unstuck (i.e. "Galleries - request for feedback" and "Posting Images and Other Tips" (although this will probably have to be recreated for DCW)).

Regards

Nick

Just a tiny thing and shouldn't take priority. The favicon is missing in the forum, but is present in the main site.

I notice the new website encompasses Digital camera, PhotoPlus, NPhoto and Practical Photoshop and the 3 photography magazines have their own forum, any plans to add one for Practical Photoshop as there isn't one on that website or here?

1: Marking posts as Read results in the error below, [B]Now Fixed[/B].

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

2: Also the gallery block on the front page is bursting out of the right hand side of the theme. [B]Now Fixed[/B]
3: Site won't fit a 1024x768 screen which it should do. [B]Now Fixed[/B]
4: Layout issues in the private mail sections, making it render too wide. [B]Now Fixed[/B]

I'll post more as I find them. There was also a report that one member signed in without a password, but I can't replicate this. Might be worth checking though

You're kicking off members! I'm sure my photos of Loughrigg Tarn in the lake district weren't that offensive but since the change from photo radar, I ceased to exist so opened a new account. No harm, no foul but I wonder how many others have been affected?

Thanks for fixing the above issues. ;)

Another slight css issue, when reading a thread, the "Forum Jump" Go button is forced off the right hand side of the screen, thus throwing a horizontal scroll bar. IE8 @1024 x 768

BBCode embed code below pics in gallery, embeds thumbnail only. Assuming you have image size restrictions in the gallery now,? then that BBCode would be put to better use if it embedded the full size image.

You also have a HTML embed code in there, and as we can't use HTML in our posts there's no point having it, unless you want people hot linking images all over the web. :)
