you're a braver girl than me*, if I saw someone taking photos of me at a cashpoint I might wonder if they were photographing or videoing me keying in my pin number or photographing my card.

with modern digital technology it's not hard to blow something up and read it. I photograph American football and the players/coaches have cheat sheets with the plays either on a clip board (coaches) or on a wrist band (players) If I zoom a full frame 21mp image I can often read what the plays are.

that said, I like the processing and composition of both shots, the lamppost nicely balances the man in the second shot.

* obviously you're a braver girl than me 'cos I'm not a girl but you know what I mean ;)

Thanks, Garry :-)

The processing was done with silver efex pro, its the only way I process black and white now. I get your point about the pin numbers, it never entered my head actually! :-) I have been lost for projects lately and hardly photographing so I decided to make a mini one up, photographing people doing normal everyday things.

Btw, I am not sure you would suit a dress and high heels lol

silver efex is excellent, I use it for all my b&w stuff too

Two cracking shots Karen, but agree with what Cathus says about taking shots at cashpoints.

Looking at the second shot, I think you missed the best photo - the two girls past the lamp post - looks like fancy dress to me. :p
