A couple of touristy spots from saturday
My daughter was hoem for the weekend and she is starting out in photography so we ventured out to catch the sunrise but we got more of a storm really.
I am glad O took my camera of the tripod when I went to talk my daughter as the tripod blew over. This is Castlerigg Stone circle Castlerigg circle at dawn by alfred.branch, on Flickr Then we went off to shoot some water and play with shutter speeds at another tourist classic Ashness bridge Ashness bridge 1 by alfred.branch, on Flickr |
The shot of Ashness Bridge is a beautifully balanced image and the exposure is spot on from front to back , did you use any grad filters or multiple exposures to obtain it .
It's also very nice to see the water hasn't disappeared under a milky haze . Great shot really like it Mark |

I used an ND grad for the clouds but still had to do some work to bring out the blalance of exposure as I underexposed to prevent bl;owing the hihlights still. |
Both beautiful photographs, Alf.
