opening into Raw
Hi can anyone tell me , when I am in photoshop and I want to take the picture back to Raw where is the command ? i have used it before but cant find it now, must be my age.

In Bridge choose File, Open in Raw option then save it from Photoshop. :D
|
The way I do it is:-
Open the raw file in photoshop. Make adjsutments in the raw editor. When I have finished hold down the shift key Open image changes to Open Object Click Open Object Now to open the raw editor I just double click the layer. |
File Close
File Open Recent |

Whoops really made a fool of myself, slap my wrists. Hey guys thanks for your replies but when I said i had done it before but couldn't find the command well there isn't one I have just realized that the command is not in photoshop its in Bridge. so i can look at my picture in bridge then ask it to open in Raw from the drop down menu.
Doooohhhh sorry again but thanks for the replies. memory loss and all that !!!!!!! |
Had the exact same thing about 3 weeks ago, Mark :o. Wanted to open a file in ACR and for the life of me, couldn't remember how to access it independently. Trawled all the way through Photoshop's menu tabs to no avail. After much profanity, head scratching and more profanity, I gave up and Googled it. I now have Bridge in my quick-launch icons :).
That's the comforting thing about computer and software problems, you can guarantee some other poor sod has had the exact same problem and posted somewhere about it. Solved my PC woes, many-a-time! |
