CHAT - 'OLD' w/e comp 18th-20th November 2011
 

This week's themes is [B]'OLD'[/B]. You can interpret this in any way you wish. There are no restrictions on post production. But all images must have been shot in the given time frame.

Darn the time this was announced lol...got some fab 'old' photos this morning! Great idea Deena.

ahhh.....sounds like an excuse to pop into my local Workingmans Social Club.....we got loads of dinosaurs in there propping up the bar!!!...:D:p

I remember on one occasion, the theme was posted on Weds afternoon and the first entry was Weds night!!

Even though I'm not in it at the moment, I don't think the rules should be changed.
Pictures should be taken [B]after[/B] the theme is announced.

Exceptions often become the thin edge of the wedge. :(

A rule change should be properly discussed and voted on; otherwise you're away to the races.

You're right Reinardina. I hadn't read the rules properly. The theme can be announced any time after the previous poll closes up until midnight on the Thursday. But all photos must be taken on either the Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

My silhouette entry with the cat was actually taken on the Monday morning :rolleyes: oops
but now I realize that only submission is allowed up until midday on the Monday

Small correction: the pictures can be taken any time [I]after[/I] the theme has been set, but before Sunday night.

They used to be restricted to Fri ,Sat, and Sun, but that rule has been eased. (Officially!)
