Help please – D90 flash

Hi there,

New to the forum so hi and look forward to interaction.

I have a D90 and the pop-up flash is not firing, I have had a look at the handbook and on the e section of the menu is not appearing. Am I missing something here or is something wrong with the camera?

Input appreciated

Hi Campbells I just wonder if when you look at the menu is the flash on or off . I Know it sounds silly but just mite your problem

What settings are you using when trying to use the flash?

If you've navigated the menu to the Custom Settings section (pencil icon in the left column) and can't find the bracketing/flash (e) subdivision of that, there's either something wrong with the camera, or something else...

You'll need to give more information if you want diagnosis of why your flash doesn't fire.

Another that posts a Q and doesn't come back for the answers. Probably won't even be a PhotoRadar when he comes back....

I was going to wait until today to post along similar lines. Another 1 hit wonder. I do love his idea of interaction.

If the "E" section does not show I would say 99% its a camera fault.
