R.I.P. The Forum ....
 

The jist of the thread was that I believed the forum was being neglected and was withering away is favour of Facebook.

I really enjoy(ed) taking part in this little community and am a huge fan of the magazines the company produces and would hate to see the forum fade a way.

I do. The lack of involvement from staff along with the decline of quality regular members means this place is turning into a 'register to get one question answered' forum, and a pretty thankless one at that.

Ah well, if they want to focus on facebook only, then so be it.

Lets hope not, Facebook is good for some things but you can't beat a traditional forum for providing tons of useful information.

This forum had been sadly neglected for a very long time now.

Everything seems to be moving to Facebook these days, but I am not planning to follow. If it dies, it dies. Bad luck. All good things come to an end. Etc etc :( (Fill in more cliché's.) It's a pity though, as it once was vibrant and entertaining and very knowledgable.

I only joined a couple of days ago but already really enjoy the forum, I chose it because I enjoy the magazine. I must admit I'm not a big facebook fan/user.
I'd like to start putting my photos on the critique thread but I can't figure out how to attach a photo! Bit computer illiterate I think...
