Thanks for the video Paul,

It's very comprehensive and informative, also it's great to see your workflow.

Regards

Nick

BTW. What software do you use to create these videos?

Good grief - you got Elements 10 quickly! It's just been released in the USA. I think I like the extra bits and pieces for mobile apps (iOS and Android) to be found in Elements Plus.... not that I'm a user of those fancy phones yet!

Digidiva try this raw program its free and someone on the forum swears by it. http://rawtherapee.com/ I know you said you haven't the room but its only 12mb so not very big program. you can try downloading it if it slows the computer down just uninstall it again.

A few things to speed up your computer. try ccleaner this is a small free program that deletes your cookies and temp files etc.. which are unnecessary. Also defragging your computer they recommend you do this every 6 months but must people never do it. This will take a few hours if you have never done it before but you just leave it on and go and watch xfactor. Finally uninstall any programs you don't use.

Says I don't have the memory for it! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Need to do something FAST!

thefonz78 24-09-11 12:13 PM

Thats a pitty digidiva it looks like a great free program. Memory is very cheap nowadays. The program asks for 3gb of ram. You can 2 x 2gb=4gb of ram for £15-£20. Its a simple job so do it yourself or a local store will do it for free if your buying the ram from them.

Kerry Holt 26-09-11 09:55 AM

DD i upgraded my ram and i didn't have a clue what i was doing but it worked out really easy and so much better go Here and it tells you what ram you've got on your computer and then on there you can find out what your computer can have as maximum ram and buy it from them or off ebay or somewhere else, there's instructions on putting it in too-honestly it'd be a good thing i think.

I think the problem that Chris has, is that she's using a netbook.

Memory is cheap if you can use DRR3, but can be expensive if it's DDR2.

Chris, if you can let us know what netbook you're using, we may be able to give some advise on what is possible.
