An interesting article - primarily aimed at photographers in the US, it still bears a lot of relevance to UK 'togs.

For the UK, I found a load of ideas of different markets and contacts in a new ebook, The Bigger Picture (subtitle something like the business guide for photographers). Got it on amazon for about a fiver to read on my PC. Reams of lists of press agencies, UK newspapers , stock and microstock libraries. card manufacturers etc. Magazine contacts not listed but it tells you where to access a free list. Most books are too generic or too US based. Depends what you are selling but most markets covered here. I have found it more useful than other book I have.

This might also be an interesting read for those who are wanting to do freelance
