Not impressed!!!
Hi,
My wife recently purchased a Nikon P300 which I have to say so far I'm very impressed with. She also bought an Aquapac 'waterproof' case for it. I decided to fill it with tissue paper and try it in the sink first. Thank god I did. It leaked like a sieve and I ended up with soggy tissue paper. At £35 I was expecting better. Or was I just being naive to think that it really would work!!?? I strongly recommend anyone using a 'waterproof' case to try it out first like I did or you could end up with a wet camera and very cross. Does anyone have any good experiences or recommendations for a waterproof case??) Thanks Chris |
No they are rubbish. There a carry case and not for underwater shooting. you will have to buy i proper waterproof housing if you want to do underwater photography. They are big money £300 and up. You would have been better off buying a dedicated waterproof camera like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3 or fujifilm XP30 and Sony TX10. All brands make them now.

Jonathan Ryan used one for a D3 for his underwater wedding dress shoot. :D |
