Any Landscape photographers in Dorset UK?

HI,

Ok i am planing for a heavy Landscape Photography in the Dorset UK, mid October, and since i am new to that area completely (because i am based in State Of Kuwait) I was wondering is there any way i can book a near by Hotel near that area without the need for Taxi drive or renting a car? because I will be walking to that area on different timing specially between sunset and sunrise?

I would really appreciate the help.

Dorset is a county in England with an area of 2,653 square kilometres. Walking around Dorset would take some time, so it really depends which part you want to visit. Perhaps a hire car would be more appropriate.

It's a nice county. Weymouth is a nice harbour, I took this there a while ago:

Dorchester has some lovely villages / fields / scenic inland locations - there's also an exotic plant garden that they light up with coloured lights in the evening.

Bournemouth is a big place, but definitely worth a look along the coastline for your kind of shots :)

Check out Flickr's Dorset groups...... some wonderful coastline, but don't forget further into the county, like the Blackmore Vale, lots of great shots to be had around North Dorset, Shaftesbury area. I lived there for 26 years - it's a great location.
