I really wish I could give you some constructive criticism with this shot but I'm afraid it's just one of those shots that I can't put my finger on the reason why I don't think it works properly . It may well be because of the way the land falls away or that there's no real point of interest or that the bottom right hand corner looks a bit empty , it's a shame because it looks like a beautiful location .

It might just be the crop that's doing it .

Sorry I'm being so wishy washy , hopefully someone else can hit the nail on the head for you .

I'd have to agree with Mark here. I think it's a couple of things. Yes, the crop, and also the wall on the left. It breaks up the shot.

I'd suggest boosting the contrast myself - there's a lot of midtones :)
