Milky Way

OK, just a quick one from last night. Just got back in and knackered from an all nighter.

This is the Milky Way from Bamburgh Beach road.

I don't know why you haven't got any comments yet!

Looking at it, I like the stars up in the sky. The foreground is just a little too dark. Try bringing it up a little and then you'll have a stunner.

Wish I was there!

I agree with Jools Paul and Swan Lover. Those stars are amazing.......You are trying lots ofdifferent things lately, which are probably outside your comfort zone and thats great. Go you.

One of the disadvantages of living in London is the light pollution. The only way we ever see a star is when it goes super-nova;)

I could have sworn I'd replied to this one when it was posted as I remember being a little jealous given that I was there a couple of weeks ago and intended to do some of this having given it a go last year when I was on hols up there.

Sadly the weather was really bad for 2 weeks, the only 2 nights we had a reasonably clear sky there was a full moon so I didn't bother.

Not a bad effort, what was the exposure details, might have been slightly too long as the stars are starting to streak.
