That looks good - you'd think they'd want this on the news page ;)

Quite agree but then again with all the problems on this site, perhaps they don't like photographers! :D |
Wish I could get there Abers - love your work. I`d say good luck but your work speaks for itself and I am sure everyone who goes will enjoy

Maybe it'll make the news page after it's a roaring success, as I expect it will be, Alan. Your stuff is terrific.
And maybe there'll be chips with that egg. |

Did you email it to the team as a news snippet??? Sound's good! |

Don't ask Ben, don't ask. Amy tells me you need to have a gallery on PRadar before you can have anything posted in the news sectionon. |
Hi Abers
Having a gallery on photoradar is not essential to having a news story written - otherwise we'd have no stories about many things! As I’ve tried to explain, and perhaps failed, the news hook for this story would have been that you are an active member of our website, however without using the galleries you appear to outsiders as a non-active user. Obviously, where other news hooks such as famous photographers (Rankin, Bailey and the ilk) or well-known galleries (i.e. National Portrait Gallery) are available this is what the story hangs on. We do wish you every success with the exhibition and hope everyone enjoys seeing your pictures. Best wishes, Amy |

Don't worry about it, the publicity is going well. Since no-one appears to look at or comment on the galleries perhaps it would have been a waste of time anyway. If anyone wants to see my work, please click on the links below. Page two of 'How to be a Journalist' will let everybody know what a 'hook' is, I wasn't looking for a story, just a NIB. Cheers Abers. P.S. Thanks for the bump in the thread. |
