Ahoy Fowey

Ahoy all

Took this shot from the balcony of the flat I hired in Fowey 2 weeks back.
Had some ND fitted, no other special filters for the star burst.

All comments welcome.

Really nice shot Steve. I love that golden hour after sunset. Star burst effect from the aperture blades is excellent.

I take it you corrected the horizon at some point? The lower light reflection is pointing to the right. Doesn't detract from a great photo.

Well spotted, Jimmy, yes adjusted just a little, I should have used the in built camera level when setting the shot up, but forgot.

Plus I had a few glasses of wine already with next in hand, drinking and driving a camera does not make for consistent of process, hey but I enjoyed it.:D

Although looking at it again, I think I should have straightened it a little more. :o

Cheers Steve

That is a great view and a wonderful shot. I certainly cannot blame you for having the wine :)

Nice shot indeed. Its got a few points of interest - the village with the lights on in the houses, then the ruin (is that what it is?) that's well lit up and really stands out and then the light and 'star burst' with the reflection. It really works for me.
I may start drinking and shooting. :)

Yes, it's a ruin, don't think it's a fort.

Thank you all for the comments.

Cheers
