Does anyone know when voting time is over?

Ahhh no submissions anymore - fingers crossed for all of us for just a nomination...

Who knows ?

I am just very grateful for all those who voted and commented on my work - After polling very few votes last year; Being top in Readers choice for two categories and joint third in another at the time of closure for entries feels quite uplifting to say the least - Thank you all.

Even if I am not shortlisted, I feel rich in knowing people enjoy my work, and the knowledge that I may have inspired a few people along the way.

For me it's already an achievement to have entered. I still have pictures from 2-3 years ago unedited and promised to folks. So actually getting up and editing pictures and entering them on time: that's a win for me :)

Hi!

Last year you could continue to vote after 'closing time.' Don't know if this is still the case. Haven't tried. (What would it achieve?)

Like Andy, I would also like to say 'Thank you' to everyone who took the trouble to look at my portfolio and especially those who voted for some of my pictures.

I have done very well this year as far as reader's votes are concerned, a huge improvement on last year. I doubt though whether they are good enough for 'The Email.' But there's always hope!

Just found a vote for my 'Concrete Footprint' dated 01-10-09, so yes, you can still vote.

Just voted, so that works. However I have never been able to vote on my own images, as stated in the rules. And does anybody know when the first cut will be made, thatt way i can stop hoping to find a eamil requesting an image!!! ;-(

Just had a word with one of the judges and he says that the shortlist will be announced before the end of October and they're working through the submissions now to pick the shortlist.

Hello there Amy, i have a question; until when the shortlist process will be done? Is it still in running and still emailing to those who are in the shortlist?
