Apart from the obvious chronological answer - how does one achieve this status?

by making lots of posts, the member status is purely based on how many times you post

I think it's 100 posts ... well it was for me .....

i think after 50 you become a member not a junoir, then 100 for a senior,

If you view a hundred pics in the gallery you become a skeleton. ;)
