I do not understad, why is Nikon 70-200mm so expensive and 70-300 is so cheap?
 

How come 70-200 has 100mm less focal length, it is still bigger and more expensive?

Minimum aperture rating, quality of the internal glass elements, general build quality etc

And you'll notice a big difference when you pick them up.

And the 70-200mm F2.8 VR II is weather sealed and it's F2.8 throughout the zoom range. Great for low light. :D

It also makes you look more sexy and professional, which as we all know, is the most important thing :)
