Your Mission 114: Motorsport
This month, your mission is to come up with a dynamic image that captures the speed and excitement of motor racing. Whether you're photographing superbikes, rally cars or Caterhams, we're after a shot that gives us that surge of adrenaline.
These days SLRs are so fast and easy to use that anyone with a vague understanding of shutter speed can get a sharp image that freezes the action, but we're after something a bit different. You might like to use motion blue to suggest a sense of speed; or tilt your camera to create a more dynamic composition; or to ignore the rules of composition altogether, and position your subject so that it's moving out of the frame rather than into it. Regardless of your chosen technique, the more original the image, the better your chances of seeing your work in print.
Each month you have the opportunity to win this high-capacity Lowepro camera backpack worth £120 to the lucky winner of our Your Mission challenge.
