hi i am new here do any of you have problems entering the competitions ? i,ve been trying for 2 years and then i found this site which had a previous comment on the problem, don,t get me wrong i love the mag and i have e-mailed them concerning this. any ideas on the subject would be gratefully accepted :(

Hi i have tried all comps but latest is photoplus 50 :) all i get is not found or no matches

Strangely, some web browsers don't like our competition addresses! We can't quite work out why and it is tricky to recreate the problem, but we're going to carry on our investigations until we have it fixed!

However, in the mean time, you may find the following usefu:

Set your security settings to allow the site - [url]www.futurecomps.co.uk[/url] and [url]https://www.futurecompetitions.com[/url]. Both of these sites are secure and properly encrypted, although as the .co.uk site bounces you on to the .com site, it can confuse higher security settings!

As mentioned, the .co.uk address is a smaller, neater address that is used to bounce users on to our longer .com address. In future, simply replace the .co.uk address with the .com one and you'll be directed straight to the page. So, in this instance, [B]copy and paste[/B] this address [url]https://www.futurecompetitions.com/photoplus50[/url].

You might also like to make sure that you have the latest version of Java installed, then try refreshing the page.

wow success at last it has taken a while but i have got there !!!! thank you very much for your assisstance it has been very welcome, very kind of you to take time out to sort the problem,again many thanks:D

Hi I am having problems too trying to enter the latest competition re the 50 prizes - i have tried to access previous offers such as the canvas offer a couple of months ago but there was no mention of the size of canvas on the web-site and it would not accept my membership of Photoplus so I gave up in the end. I wish these things were a little less complicated.

Sorry you've been having trouble with our competitions and offers!

Our competition engine can be quite temperamental at times, particularly when there are high volumes of traffic coming through.

The best times to try and enter are first thing in the morning or late afternoon as this is when traffic is at it's lowest - you may have more luck then! If you're still having problems, simply drop your name, answer and address over to us by e-mail (photoplus@futurenet.com) and we'll enter the competition manually on your behalf.

We will be overhauling our competition engine soon as it frustrates us as much as it does our readers, so hopefully these problems and issues will come to an end within the next few months.

Me again - I have been trying now for quite some time to enter the photoplus 50 competition and no matter when I try cannot either get through or find the page despite the article in the letters page urging readers to enter, please can u help - I have also had problems with the Moo cards in that I would only like to order them but there is no code to use, please help. On the other hand I am absolutely delighted with the poster and photo book - excellent.
