Subscription costs more than single copies
Something does not make sense. I am a PhotoPlus subscriber and since I have been buying DCM a lot I have been thinking about subscribing. I just purchased the most recent issue available here (Canada) this morning. It is now only $7.95. ( 5.06 GBP) or $103.35 for 13 issues.
I have just checked the subscriber rates for "rest of the world" and that is 87.99 GBP or currently $138.27. I just looked at the "special rates" for US subscribers (through IMS) and it is $112.75 USD or $109.89 for 13 issues. All of the above, combined with the continual slow delivery of all Future publications magazines that have been barely arriving before they hit the news stand here that I currently subscribe to, why would I subscribe? |
So no comment from the staff on this? Why would single copies be less expensive than a subscription?
