Radar App???

Just wondering if there is or if there will be a Photoradar android/apple app?.......

I am a regular visitor/senior member to this site and I would love to access the site from my phone when on the move.

Might be a possible idea for the future?

I'd settle for some site optimization for mobile / tablet first! It renders poorly on phone and Honeycomb...

Wouldn't it be a good idea to iron out all the problems that people have with the site itself before such other activities are instigated?

I've been using the Talk Photograhy iPad app - it's ok, let's you view and post messages but there's no facility to upload images from the pad. Future Publishing are very pro iPad/mobile devices so I hope there app, when it comes out, will allow this functionality - and smooth out some of the 'issues'

I'd agree with that although an app would be nice I think they do very little to develop the site and there do seem to be organisational issues i.e. lack of moderators to lock threads and make changes when god like powers are required on the forums.

I do find the IPhone web browser a pain though as there is no quick and easy way to scroll to the bottom of the current page although you can go to the top quickly by touching the the clock on the title bar, also it resets the zoom every time you change pages so an app would really help in that respect.

I have wondered about dabbling with writing Iphone app's myself (I am a software developer) but sadly you really need an Apple computer to develop them on, I know they are not hard to develop because a colleague of mine has written one and said once you get into the correct mindset they are straight forward.

Yes Alan, it would. Doesn't seem like there's any rush to sort it out though.
