No camera for past two years ,so thinking of this set up to last for a couple of years

Should be fine to get you back into photography and should easily last you a good few years.

if you look around you might be able to pick up a D7000 with those lens just a thought

Did think about D7000 but can't find any deals near to my budget of £1300 that include the three lenses and sd card.
Thanks anyway for your time Derek |
if your after fully new then yeah it will be a struggle, you should be able to should be able to pick the body up for around £850 well know auction site the 5omm lens usally goes for around £75 70 to 300 around the £150 and the 18 to 105 £125 theres offten a few refurbished lens with warrenty on there,
i would go and try some of the shops and see what your best deal is might be surprised which way you decied im sure you have fun :) look forward to seeing your pics |
Looks like a decent set up to me. I'd rather have the 35mm f/1.8 over the 50mm f/1.8 on an APS-C camera but thats all I'd change...

What about Nikon D7000 with 50mm F/1.8 +Tamron 28-300mm XR VC +cards would this be ok for the next year ,will save for other lenses shooting wildlife and indoor ,landscapes and when I'm carp fishing
