I uploaded some photos to photoradar, however when I do a keyword search using words from the titles to find them, they do not appear in the results. The only way I can find them is to do a user search. Am I missing something obvious? Do we have to tag keywords to the images for them to be found in a search?

Hi Helen, Welcome to the forum.

When you upload photos into your gallery, uou are asked to assign keywords (maximum five). As far as I'm aware, these are the words that decide which pictures come up in a search.

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at that yesterday before I posted the question, but aren't those five words category words? And then your photos will appear in those categories cos if you click member photos and view all categories there is a huge list of all the different categories that have been created. When you type the keywords it either brings up categories that already exist or you can create a new one. That is how I have understood it.
I don't know if I'm missing something obvious!

If I go onto member photos, click view all categories, and find some of the categories I added as one of those five keywords, my images do appear in there. It is just if you type in any words from the titles in the search box, they do not appear in the results. Should they or should they not?

Good Point. Tried searching on my key words and not one of my photos returned. It appears that this site wasn't designed for photographers, as I've said before. :mad:

I have a picture of a Ruddy Darter, but when I enter that in the search nothing is returned. :confused:
