Software tool for photo organizing
 

Which software tool do you use for photo organization.

I've used Adobe Photoshop Elements for some years - it comes with 'Organizer', an excellent photo library program. I've also recently added Lightroom but I'm finding that it (version 3.3) needs a bit more oomph than my computer has. If you use a Mac, I understand Aperture is the one to go for (though you can also run Lightroom on a Mac).

I am just switching from Elements 9 to Lightroom on my Mac. I do like Lightroom a lot better, it is an actual database so it does not read from the disc every time to see what photos are there.

I use the excellent Canon Zoombrowser that came with my Canon camera.

Why do I find Picasa does what I need it to? :)
