Getting logged out
 

Hi folks,
Every now and then, when I come to the site, I find I've been logged out and need to log in again (even though 'remember me' is ticked).
Is there anything I can do about this ?

I get that as well. In my case I assume it is because I access the site from at least two computers at home (where I have it ticked) and at work where I do not. I use Chrome and sync my data so I have just assumed work won out.

i get it, but a lot of websites that require details log you out ofter a day or two for your security, hotmail do it regulary, even when u say remember me, dont think its aviodable really,

Its most probably because you're cookies expire. What browser are you using? It could be that your browser is set to clear cookies out every now and again (some do).

More likely a dodgy cookie setting on this site TBH. They should e able to adjust that. ;)

This place logs you out after a set period, even if you've been on half and hour before. :mad:

Also, the Galleries sometimes log you out minutes after you have logged in. I uploaded three photos one day, one after the other but had to log on each time. As I've said before, this site wasn't built to be user friendly! :mad::mad:

Yes I get logged out constantly and randomly. What`s even worse is when I try to log back in it never accepts my password first time and I always have to enter the same password again before it lets me in. gets a tad annoying and one reason why I only tend to hang around the forum.

Takes my password every time. Never had it fail.

Glad to know its not just me. FWIW I'm using safari.

Works fine for me on firefox but always logging me out / refusing password first time on IE8
