cant believe no one's asked or started a thread in here on black and white...you can do b&w in digi specially if you shoot raw as well then convert it though sometimes it do seem a bit sepia looking,anyways dont let the old stuff die it still has great use's ** John** xx

B&W, Still lives, this site is still new so give it a bit more time and I'm sure that some of the past members of the DCM site will begin to post!

If you look at the B+W section of the Galleries, you will see that whatever system Photoradar is using to display the images, it reduces them to a uniform grey, losing all the ranges of tones that were presumably in the original image. Why spend time trying to produce a decent monochrome image when it will become completely degraded if you post it here?
Stick to Flickr if you are a B+W worker. |
I thought they'd migrated to imagemagick for the processing and this issue has been resolved.
