Off camera flash

I have a Nikon SB600 and a set of wireless flash triggers and was considering purchasing a second flash gun.

I have a budget of around £100 and have been looking at the Nikon SB400 and the Metz 36 AF5.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of these guns or any other ideas that will point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Steve - I would really advise against the SB400. Underpowered and does not work with Nikon CLS system for future use. If you can stretch to it get an SB 600, SB700, or 800 even if you go 2nd hand like I did for a couple. If not Metz is better or try the Nissin di866 ( I think) or the Yongnou flashguns - but really leave the Sb400 it`s not worth the cash.

Thanks for your input Paul. Other people have said the same about the SB400 so that is definately off the shopping list now. Several people have also mentioned the Yongnuo's too and I have seen a set of 4 x yn460's for just over £100 so may give those a try.

Strictly speaking, the SB-400 is CLS only - it will not work unless attached to a camera that supports CLS. The SB-400 only does a limited subset of CLS, though, notably not supporting Advance Wireless Lighting, so I know what you mean... :)
