hi there, i have been ask to shoot a wedding and i said yes, but the woman is white and the man is black, so could you tell me the best plaice to take my meter reading from to get my exposure right. thanks guys. thegerman.

My advice would be to shoot in RAW, as it's easier to correct the exposure if you are slightly out and take a test shot or two until you get your settings bang on. Your perceived problem though, is no different to what most wedding photographers face, as in the bride is usually dressed in white or just off white and all the men are in dark coloured suits. The trick is to ensure that you retain the detail in the brides dress, but how you meter for it varies depending on the conditions you're shooting in. There is no stock answer I'm afraid.
