If you are asking advise about exposure are you certain about taking the photos? Check this post [url]http://www.photoradar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4714[/url] i'm not calling into question your abilities so please dont get upset by my answer.

My advice would be to shoot in RAW, as it's easier to correct the exposure if you are slightly out and take a test shot or two until you get your settings bang on. Your perceived problem though, is no different to what most wedding photographers face, as in the bride is usually dressed in white or just off white and all the men are in dark coloured suits. The trick is to ensure that you retain the detail in the brides dress, but how you meter for it varies depending on the conditions you're shooting in. There is no stock answer I'm afraid.
