Wireless Trigger
Hi all
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a reliable/preferably cheap wireless transmitter for a Canon to trigger a Interfit EX150 mk2 kit. Thanks Regards Daz:) |
If you want value for money, most go for RF-602s like these

I have both PT-04M and RF602 triggers.
Some swear by the RF602s and they do work, but I find that I get a lower reliable sync speed with them than the PT-04M - so I use the PT-04M system the most. Pentax max flash sync is 1/180, which the PT-04M handles perfectly. I've had this system for over a year and never had a misfire. The RF602 will only sync reliably with my cameras at 1/125, despite being rated at 1/250. Hope this is useful info for you. |
Thanks for the advice guys
Best Regards Daz |
I use the Pixel Pro flash triggers, they are good value (£45) but suffer from some of the sync issues mentioned above (i think that this tends to be a theme with teh sheaper options?). They are only reliable at 1/160s (rated @ 1/250s)

I just got the Phottix Stratos for my D700. They sync at 1/250th, take AAA rechargeables thoughout, double as a remote and are well built. 100% reliable so far. A bit more than the RF602s but better built and have a pass through facilituy that enables TTL performance when used with my SB800 as commander on camera and using with a mix of Nikon and 3rd party flashes.
