Your Mission 108: Snow and Ice

Would you like to win a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW backpack worth £120? Enter this month's Digital Camera Your Mission for a chance to be published in the mag and take home the prize.

Here are the details you need:

Mission: This month's mission is all about photographing snow and ice. A single snowflake, a snow-clad landscape or even a block of ice from your fridge are all fair game - all we ask is that the water in question is below 0 degrees celcius, and that it's the main subject of the image.

The closing date: 7 February 2011

To enter upload your shots to PhotoRadar and send the link to your gallery to digitalcamera@futurenet.com with the words "Your Mission: Snow and ice" in the subject line.

The best three shots will be printed in issue 110, on sale 8 March 2011.

Amy, I think you are about a month too late with this mission ;)

Amy Davies 18-01-11 04:21 PM

I don't set the missions.... ;)

P.S. There's no time frame for shots to be taken in - you can enter all the ones you took last month!

Be creative - that reminds me, must defrost the freezer when I've finished photographing it :)

You do relize that water can go down to -10 without freezing.

Again, I don't set the missions.... ;)

I'm sure if you wanted to submit something showing this, with an explanatory note, they'd appreciate your cheekiness!

Where do you live, Mike? It was freezing here last night and icey! :-)

Are we allowed to send more than one link in the same e-mail?
(say we have 3-4 images fitting the mission in our PhotoRadar gallery)

Hi Horia,

Yes please feel free to send in as many as you like - as it so happens last month, the same photographer came 2nd and 3rd =)

Best of luck!

Amy

Thanks so much for choosing my snow photograph :-) I only managed to buy the magazine today , although Phil emailed me to let me know a few days ago. I'd forgotten all about entering it so its an amazing and brilliant surprise! And even when someone emailed me for the hi-res it still never clicked really lol

It was so surreal seeing it and its the first time I have ever been printed in a mag! :-)

Thanks again, its made my day!

Karen
