Remote live view, help required
 

Don't know if anyone can help me on this topic.
I am trying to set up REMOTE live view to a laptop. Live view works on the camera
(Canon 40d), i have a usb cable connected camera - laptop, also have the canon utilities disc loaded but i am obviously missing something as i cannot get a pic on the laptop screen.
Any help much appreciated.

Being a Nikon owner and understanding that the software for this is quite expensive I can't really answer what is wrong. But one question to start you with is does your software support tethered shooting?

I assume you have loaded the camera drivers, if so open DPP and go to "Tools" and then "Start EOS Utility" This opens the Camera Control dialogue box where you select "Camera settings/remote Shooting"
