Is there a sales forum for second hand kit?
 

Quick question to avoid making a boo-boo, is there a sub forum for members to sell/trade second hand kit? I'll soon be looking for a few pre-loved lenses and have some spare kit myself.

If not, no worries, will continue to use the forum to learn and maybe when I improve, share :)

I haven't seen a buy/sell forum, it may be possible to advertise via the individual equipment chat forums, but I'd read the forum T&C's first, just to make sure your not breaking any rules.

I had been wondering the same thing myself, would be nice.

There used to be a section in the old DCMag version of this site but it never seemed to get updated and was a bit of a waste of time - people also used the main forum to offer items for sale - it did'nt break the rules then but I'm not sure if it's ever come up since the new site took over.

Thanks peeps, I had a look through the rules and couldnt find anything saying you cant sell...but I am still looking for an official answer.

I am on plenty of forums and waiting for an official reply is often something of a waiting game :)

You could try private messaging one of the moderators

another photo (web only) site has a free classifieds section for members. DC/PR does not have one. [B]IT SHOULD![/B] (just think of the additional revenue it could generate by getting advertisers to sponsor the pages where the hit rate/page visits will be very high as forum members see what they can buyl).
