Confused!

:)

I know, it doesn't take a lot to confuse me but I cannot make head nor tail of uploading photographs into one of the threads.

I want to be brave and start to ask for critique and advice on some of my photos. Not only the photograph itself but suggestions on what can be tried to improve the photo with photoshop [which I haven't tried yet].

When I go to upload a photo it seems to want me to start an album and I really do not want to have an album until my photography has improved! Is it possible to upload a photo without it coming from an album?

Thanks for any help!

Well yes and no. The image has to be uploaded somewhere on the web before you can embed it in a forum post.

You could use somewhere like http://photobucket.com/ to upload your pics to first if you don't want to start a album here. Then embed them to this forum.

Thank you both!

I shall go and have a look at photobucket. It appears my learning curve is about to get even steeper!

There's an old saying that goes: Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he can feed himself for life. Photography is a bit like that - you can never learn too much, and it is what makes photography great - learning new things every day, even though you may have been taking photographs for decades!
