The weekly DCM comp
 

I was hoping we could get the weekly comp going on here again, but talking to other members they think there are still a few problems to sort out like getting the account name you want etc.

Should we just stay on Flickr for now?, how many want to get the ball rolling here again.

I can understand the point of those wanting to wait while they get their personal accounts sorted, but is there any compelling argument as to why they can't participate with the situation as is? Is basic functionality missing? (One argument could be that the polls were/are limited to only 10 items.)

Just tried a poll and its still restricted to ten.

I’ve got to say I’d be quite happy to come back here (not really keen on Flickr) but if the poll is restricted to 10 entries then at the moment there doesn’t seem to be any point.

Do we know if anybody at DCM is looking into this??

I can't see any sensible way to do this untill the 10 poll limit is sorted, I had a look at multiple polls but can't see anyway of doing it.

We could sent up a thread with all pictures numbered then have links to thread polls(1-10 11-21 etc), no poll in original picture thread as people will be lazy and only vote in the first thread.
That's if more than 10 enter :)

Why wait the galleries are rubbish so we may as well use them for the Comp. :D
