The pub at the end of the runway
 

The airport pub at Manchester airport. A popular day out for families who sit in the beer garden and watch the planes flying past. The pub sits at the end of the runway. I wanted to show the people watching one land and document an alternative day out.

Interesting place for a pint.

The photo itself would be better balanced with the jet in the right-hand side of the sky, it's quite left-heavy at the moment.

Noisey place too :-) You're right, never noticed it before but it is a bit crowded at the left. I wanted to show the plane entering the frame but in hindsight leaving the frame might have been better.

I like the Pic Karen but disagree with Cathus about the Plane , one way around the positioning of the plane is you want it flying into the frame so in my opinion it is in the ideal position so to overcome the crowding of the people is to move your position around to the left so they are more to the right and this should balnce the shot out .
One thing to watch out if you go back and retake this shot .

Thanks for your input, Bill :-) I do need to start thinking about my composition more, my approach at the moment is see it , shoot it, don't think about it beforehand.
