Documentary style

At last.... A forum dedicated to Docco and Street!!! I expect to see some awesome shots here. It was my fave thread on DCM (thanks Tim!) so hopefully I'll get my daily fix of inspiration.

I'd post a couple of images, but I don't know how yet!!!:o

It's nice to see the image count restrictions isn't in the FAQ.

I'm not joking either...

Great the new Street photography thread is up and running! Website looks good at first impressions, uploading images is much quicker and easier. Here is a shot to start things off, taken a couple of weeks ago at the Edinburgh festival.

Does'nt that make this section a little difficult??

I would say that you're not breaking any laws by posting photos of people you don't have permission from so the onus is on those responsible who mange the forums to check with each individual member to ensure they aren't breaking the forum rules. Of course in practice that would be impossible to implement!!

Relax, it's purely lawyer speak. The PR team know this and I'm sure if they had it their way they'd rather not pander to the vampires (sorry I men lawyers ((apologies to any lawyer's on here!)) and remove silly impractical clauses like that. It's solely covering their *** should someone post a defamatory photo and legal proceeding begin.

Let's face it... We're all adults on here and someone, whether it's the PR admin or other forum users, would highlight a problematic picture pretty quickly. Anyway, it's usually the caption/description that lands photographers in hot water!!!

Post away Sue!

Ben
