Architectural Photography Website

I've just finished my new architectural photography website, so thought I'd share it with you. Hope you enjoy:

I also have a Smugmug website which will now become more of a gallery site for my landscape and other photography work.

Great work , although I think the transitions in the home page are a bit to fast for such a classy looking website, hope you dont mind me saying.
Your work is great, well done

Thanks Mark, you're not the first person to say that. So on reflection I think I'll slow it down a tad. Thanks for the feedback:)

Glad its just not me:) only a tad mid you :)

Nice website and images - and have to agree about transition timings :)

Chris_Humphreys 22-10-10 02:41 PM

Thanks Andy. Do you think the transitions are still too fast? I'd slowed them down after Mark's comment. The problem with them being too slow is that nobody really hangs around for long on a home page like this so I wanted it to change before the mouse heads for the menu.

I have to agree with others. The work seems very nice, but the site and viewing images is very cumbersome and annoying to use.

So much so that it makes me not want to to browse your site.

Paul.

Very nice website....and great subjects. Architecture is a great format to shoot.

Mark, I once had a classy website, it even had Scottish Harp music playing in the background as you browsed through my galleries of Highland landscapes, etc.....probably why it didnt get many hits as visitors fell asleep to the relaxing and entrancing sounds of the harp....:p

Will have to set one up again in the new year......minus the harp music:D

Thanks Mark and Matthew, good to hear the adjusments worked.

Paul, thanks for your feedback, sorry you didn't want to browse. I had a look at your site, not sure I'll take any web design leads from it though...
