hello from sunny south wales
hi guys, just joined up so thought id say hello and introduce myself.
my names steve, i come from south wales. ive been into photography for donkies years and even have a website for my village which has around 3000 photos on it, not all mine but a great deal are... sadly none are of a quality that i would like to share here as they are a real case of quantity over quality in our attempt to create an archive of the village for the future generations so that they can see what its like now. anyway after years of using a small samsung compact which i carry everywhere with me and a fuji camera that i bought for its lovely 18x optical zoom i last weekend decided to buy an slr, not knowing anything at all about slr's i spent a few hours online and decided to go for a canon 550d, i found a deal which saw me get the camera as a kit with an 18-55 lens and 70-300 lens and i had it on friday... two days into being an slr owner im in the position of not having a damn clue what im doing, or how to use the camera any further than its basic auto settings which isnt why i bought the camera. so i did a quick goole and found photoradar, im guessing this is a sister site to bike radar which im a user on as well? so i guess im gona have a nose around now and try and find some hints and tips... and post a load of questions for things i cant find answers for.. ill obviously use the search first but incase i **** up and miss something ill apologise in advance im im dragging old posts back up look forward to speaking to you all soon steve |
