Uploader problem
 

I know it's very last minute, but I'm trying to upload photos to the competition. When I hit the Upload button nothing is happening. No confirmation of receipt, no warning message about wrongly-completed sections - nothing. My pictures are not appearing. Is the Uploader on the blink? I'd like to get my pictures entered in the few hours that are left.

It's possible that there is a rush on maybe. I entered four this morning but via my PhotoRadar gallery, and only one took more time than expected.

Well, I tried repeatedly all day yesterday and have just tried to upload again this morning. Still nothing is happening. I have had no problems uploading pictures to other online sites. As I will be at work for the next few hours there is now little chance of my entering the comp. :-(

Due to increased pressure on the servers in the run up to the POTY deadline, the site is currently running slower than normal. We are monitoring the situation closely, but it is running OK at at the moment.

Don't you have anyone at home who can upload the photos for you, David? It would be a shame to miss out. The site is slow for me too but its just one last stampede by everyone entering the competition. I suddenly had a rare brainwave this morning and had an idea to photograph something this afternoon so wish me luck going out, getting the shot and actually managing to upload it before the deadline! :-)
