"free gifts did NOT arive with 1st issue of subscription
AND i'm very annoyed. i sent an email to customer help and this was the reply
"Thank you for your recent email. Unfortunately the gift offer only applies to UK residents, I apologise for any mis-understanding that occurred with regards to this. If there is anything else that I can help you with please don’t hesitate to contact me. For and on behalf of PhotoPlus Alison Burnage Email Customer Services" I would like to know who's lying here. On page 103 in issue 35 May 2010. It states quite clearly on that page " if you are based in America, Canada, Europe or ELSWHERE, take out an overseas subscripton & we'll send you two filters as a welcome gift". Further I refer to page 30, Issue 36, June 2010. Once again on this page it states that international subscribers will "get TWO great welcome gifts". These quotes clearly show that free gifts are offered to international subscribers and that the above reply from Ms Burnage from Emaul Customer Service is VERY wrong. OR are the publishers of Photoplus Magazine offering inducements that they have no intention of honouring? Here in Australia you'd be in big trouble because it is false advertising. Frankly I'm disgusted. The offer was an inducement to purchase the magazine. I've been lied too. It is so wrong to offer something that you have no intention of honouring. I will keep my subscription for now BUT I won't be renewing it. |
I feel very "ripped" off!
and I'm VERY annoyed

I will keep an eye on this thread to see that kwill has been satisfied with the outcome ;) |
I have found that employees of Future tend to be more responsive than those of other publishers.
