How do we know how many votes an image has received?
 

Hi,

I don't know if I'm missing something obvious or not, but is there any way to see how many votes an image has received, either our own images or other peoples?

Last year, it was really clear, but this year, I've not been able to find this out.

You have a point, I have had a good look and I cant find anything like that either. You're right, last time you could see how many votes you/others had got.


I know, ultimately, votes dont dictate the overall winner, but it was handy to see what was the most popular in your own entries, that way you knew what worked and what you needed to work on to get it up to a standard that would attract votes........

As with the last competitions though, I use it as an opportunity to share my pictures and if they get anywhere, its an added bonus.

It's one the few times I can honestly say that for me it's that taking part and not the winning, that counts. :D

Hi everyone,

At the moment there is no facility to see exactly how many votes each picture has received. You can sort all of the entries by most popular to see which ones are being rated the highest though.

To vote, you must be logged in and click on the grey thumbs up icon underneath each picture on the main POTY site.

No, the votes a photograph has does not influence the judging in anyway at all. The vote and comment system is just for us to interact with other members who have entered photographs.
